“Mopping the table” is a term that I coined while playing poker on a Texas Holdem Facebook application with some of my other friends. The term implies taking all of the money that people may have on a table. We cleaned or rather moped the tables while making the most donkey plays imaginable. All in on 7-2 off suite pre-flop and taking pots down with nine high. Started with 4k in chips and ended up with 167k in 2 days or so. We called ourselves the night time Facebook janitors. Luck can only be on your side for so long, eventually the odds catch up with you… The universe has a way of evening itself out, in a matter of 15 hands I went from 167k to 245k to 0. Lost sets to flushes and straights to boats. Had Aces cracked by two pairs of 8/3. We were moped clean.
